A problem many face... Have you ever felt uncomfortable while freediving? Or trained but saw no improvement? Performance not as expected? Let's look at how to fix this.

As someone who now dives in the pool until I barely feel the Urge to breathe, I want to share methods to make pool freediving more comfortable and improve performance.

Problems can arise from many areas ๐Ÿ”„, but I will list rough solutions as follows:

  1. Pool Equipment: The key is weighting ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ. You must not float or sink at the depth you want to dive. I recommend using a neck weight because it helps with trim. Proper weight placement makes diving more comfortable and safer ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

  2. Technique and Posture: Good diving technique helps use O2 efficiently ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ. I spent a lot of time trying and adjusting techniques, like diving 25m with fins, adjusting various postures to find the way that tires me the least.

  3. CO2 Tolerance Training: Training CO2 tolerance is very important in diving ๐Ÿคฟ. It can be trained with CO2 Tables or Dynamic CO2 Tables. Training helps the body get used to high CO2 levels and increases comfort during dives.

  4. Flexibility and Mobility: Increasing flexibility with stretching or yoga ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ can help reduce water drag by 10-15%. Being flexible and agile is a key factor in diving.

Hope these tips help improve your diving! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ‘Œ
